Joe Ma is Anita's girlfriend in Ep. 10. They story goes a long way through. First they were in constant arguments. And then Joe sees Anita and Gallen kissing under a Christmas tree in Hong Kong (just before the they "find out" they are siblings). This series, is full of humor, and excitement.

Beyond the Realm of Conscience (Ep. 1-10)
Well, this is one of TVB 42nd Anniversary's series. Set in one of China's dynasties, the series is based on different people who are hungry for power. Some work their way up to obtain power. Others are willing to do anything to gain power.
The story starts off when little Charmaine Sheh, her mother Crystal Tin, and their little servant Tavia Yeung tries to hide to avoid getting captured. However, they still end up getting caught.
They enter the kingdom. Four departments take care of all the duties in the kingdom. They are: the Food Department (head by Kara Hui), the Jewelery Department (first head by Cecilia Fong and then Susanna Kwan), the Clothing Department (head by Michelle Yim), and the Arrangement Department (head by Rosanne Lui). And Ching Hor Wai is the head of all four departments. Then, Susan Tse is in charge of the overall.
Before the end of the 1st episode, Crystal passes away after numerous beatings as a result of a misunderstanding that is known only between Tavia and her. Halfway through the 2nd epiosode, it fast fowards 20 years later.
Moses Chan and his mother (Mary Hon) are bullied by Susan Tse because Susan is the mother of the present king (Eric Li). And Mary Hon used to be a servant who washed others' feet. To avoid seeming like a possible threat to Susan, Susanna thinks of a plan to save both Mary and Moses from any danger. Moses would pretend he has brain damage. He would stay with an IQ of a ten year old forever. He leaves for 20 years and comes back in the 2nd episode as a fully grown man.
Before Moses had left the kingdom, he had already met Charmaine when her mom is on her deathbed.
When Moses come back, Edwin Siu is the king and his beloved "wife" is the Tracy Ip, a woman who is willing to plot schemes to rise to power.
Charmaine, on the other hand stays with the "three goods" (say good things, do good things, and have a good heart). Although Charmaine and Tavia are in different departments, they do remain good friends. Later, Charmaine even heads Tavia in the same department.
Kevin Cheng is a board game player. He tied with a Japanese board game player, while others could not.
Ram Chiang is a friend of Charmaine, Susanna, and Michelle. He is caring and affectionate towards Charmaine.
Mandy Cho appears briefly as a woman who has been in the kingdom for 7 years and has not seen the King once. She becomes one of the 'wives' when Charmaine and Tavia make her a head accessory that catches Edwin's eye. She dies tragically when 李國麟 plots a terrible scheme against her: accusing her of killing the King.
Kevin and Charmaine have feelings for one another, but because they are in the kingdom, they are not allowed to have a love relationship.
Tavia plays an evil role, and I see how she came to be. First, June stole her design. Susanna had to slap her mouth several times for saying the wrong things in front of everyone. One of Susan's servant, almost sewed Tavia's mouth. Second, Charmaine unintensionally takes her awaited position as 2nd head of the Jewelery Department. Tavia's evil comes from her hunger for revenge.
Moses becomes the King when Edwin dies at Ep. 10 and everything in the Kingdom becomes a mess due to 李國麟. He still pretends he's retarded so that Susan won't suspect him.
So, far this series is filled with suspense, revenge, and desire for more power.

BERMO SPOTTING!!!
And if you measure the angle from which she is "fixing her hair" at, you can see that I am indeed right about her action.
Oh, and also when "Burning Flame III" when to present (Kevin and Myolie spoke), Bosco stood next to Myolie, while Aimee proceeded to Kevin. (So from left to right, it was ...Bosco, Myolie, Kevin, and Aimee...) Strange huh?
And, did anyone watch episodes 73-76 or "My Name is Bong"? Boscolie is in there. But, instead, I'm more sure that Natalie Tong and Amigo Chui are together because Amigo made it so obvious with BOSCOLIE. But, Amigo should have invited BOSCO and MYOLIE to be in the same episode.

Well, I got back my foundation test today (61) and my math test (75). It's not that I don't get the stuff. Rather, it's when I take the tests, I just don't show my understanding of that topic. Why?

MP1
Well, my last 1st Marking Period of High School ended last Fri. Before last year, I have managed to keep all my grades at 90. Last year, everything changed. Last year I broke the records-- of the lowest bottom pit.
Math (yeah, we're Asian): I started out with an 85 for 3 marking periods and then dropped to an 80 in the 4th and Thank God, increased back to a 90 in the 5th and 6th marking period.
English: It was my first AP class ever. I had always thought my writings were OK, not the worst, and not the best. But, I ended up getting a 75 (x1.1 for AP) for 3 marking periods and then an 80 (x1.1 for AP) for the rest.
Physics: What can I say about this subject? I think it's the most pointless subject ever. The teacher couldn't teach, and we didn't learn. He had all lab classes and one actual class. Yeah, I was part of the "lucky" strand. Maybe it was just that we didn't understand him well. My grades were like a roller coaster, from an 80 (MP1) to a 75 (MP2 and MP3), an 80 (MP4), an 85 (MP5) and then dropped to an 80(MP6), just when it would appear on my transcript. Thanks, Mister.
Ahh, now I feel so much better. I've been thinking about grades for the past few weeks, because college transcripts are about to be sent. "I can't wait!" ;)

I Feel Useless
Why?
I know I probably did terrible on the AP Calculus AB and Foundation test last week. What's worse?
When my AP Economics teacher approaches me to tell me that I will be disappointed to see my test grade. He said I wrote a lot (which is a good thing), but just not what he expected.
So, I go to him after school to ask him if I failed the test (meaning below a 65), and he tells me: "Yes, it's below a 65, but you didn't really fail." Thanks! That helps a lot. After all the calculation, my grade comes up to be an 82, and he says "Good Job".
Jeez, I don't want an 82, I want a 90! What's with me and all the failing of tests lately? What's going on?
I NEED LUCK!

My Blog
What can I say of my blog? It all started in mid January of 2008. It was finals week. I was a sophomore in high school. Stress was the best word to describe me. I had to think of a name for the blog. And the name "BERMO and BOSCOLIE" just struck me because I endured the four dearly.
I feel the blog is a hole in the enormous Internet. I feel it allows me to say what I want with a limit. (No, I don't curse 99.99% of the time.) It's like I'm talking to a mute person. It can hear and feel what I'm going through. But, at the same time, it won't tell me what to do or give me advice.
Well, it has been over two years since the blog has opened. And, many things have changed.
I am now a senior in high school, about to go through the tough college process, which includes applications, college essays, and so on and so on. It's sad how the week went by. Friday, the 16th, marked the end of the first marking period. I did terrible.

I had one bad week...
October 15, 2009
Hey Guys...
Sorry that I have not posted something in such a long time (or at least something about TVB, BERMO, or BOSCOLIE). So, I have like a mountain filled with work right now. Yes, SATs are over, but I have college essays, college applications, getting teachers' recommendations and so on. And on top of that, school work from teachers who do not seem to understand their students (seniors of high school).
Therefore, I probably won't be posting anything until late November/ early December. Bare with me. (the troubled senior)
